Program Overview

Since 2013, the Ministry of Education has appointed 7 universities to establish Chinese Government Scholarship - Youth of Excellence Scheme of China. SCUT’s MBA program is the only one business program, aims to help 65 developing countries exploit human resources and cultivate specialized talents in the area of business administration.

Period of Study: One Year

Medium of Instruction: English

Important Dates

Program Start Date: At the beginning of each September

Application deadline: Applicants must submit application before April 1 each year

Scholarship Coverage

1. Students are exempt from registration fee, tuition fee, laboratory experiment fee and internship fee
2. On-campus accommodation
3. Living Allowance
4. One-off settlement subsidy after registration
5. Comprehensive medical insurance
6. A one-way air ticket to China upon registration and a one-way air ticket back from

China to the student's home country after completion of the study

Application Requirements

Applicants shall meet the following basic requirements:

1. Under the age of 45 years old (Before September 1 of the year of enrollment), mentally and physically healthy
2. Bachelor degree or above, those who obtained 3 years or above work experience in relevant industries will be preferred
3. Government sector officials at the Director level and Senior Managers of teaching and research institutes or related industries
4. IELTS 6.0/TOEFL 80 or above, other equivalent English language qualifications
5. Have the potential of career development in this field and intend to promote friendly exchanges and cooperation between the home country and China
6. Those who have studied in China or have been accepted by other Chinese government Scholarship programs shall not apply
